Florida soccer one win away from College Cup Final Four

The Gator women beat Washington State, 1-0 in double OT to advance to the Elite 8. There, a rematch with SEC champion South Carolina stands between them and the Final 4.

The Patriots have been consistent winners under head coach, Tim Ryan. CF has big goals for this season, but is focused on a large series of smaller goals to get there.

The Gators had an impressive opening week to their regular season. The AP voters noticed and moved UF closer to No. 1.

Florida interim head coach Randy Shannon says the key will be keeping emotions in check this Saturday.

With 409 yards of total offense, Florida scored more than 20 points for the first time since September 30th. The defense also forced four turnovers, giving the Blazers no chance at an upset.
