St. John volleyball wins back-to-back 2A state titles

For the second year in a row, the Saints topped The Geneva School in the championship, wrapping up an incredible run of three state championships in the past four years.

The Gators made a late first-half goal stand to move into the Sweet 16 for the 13th time in the program's 21 NCAA Tournament appearances.

A final touchdown to pull away, and stingy defense to close out the game, highlights the Tornadoes big win over the Tigers. They advance to face Jacksonville Raines in the state semifinal.

In what can be described as a nightmare finish for the Bears, the Cowboys of Madison County cruise to a huge win, handing Dixie their first loss on the year, which unfortunately ends their season.

The Gators had six different players score in double figures en route to a first in program history-- consecutive 100-point games to start a season.
