A nine year old boy was killed yesterday when a school bus and a tractor trailer collided in Fort Pierce.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the bus driver made a left hand turn in front of the oncoming big rig.

More than 30 students were on the bus, deputies say at least 14 were injured.

The students were on their way home from an elementary school when the accident occurred.
