Two people were stabbed in a fight at a dorm at Florida State University.

Police say the stabbing involved a female student, who lives at Ragans Hall, and a male.

It's unknown if he's a student and what their relationship is, but police say they knew each other.

Both are in stable condition.

University police say that they were able to respond quickly to the incident, and they credit the campus alert system for keeping students informed and safe.
