Governor Scott Makes Reference to Wrong Person
Published May 24th, 2012
It was the elephant in the room Gorvernor Rick Scott was not supposed to mention, but he did.
Scott met with the king of Spain who has caught some heat for an elephant hunting trip he took while the country's economy suffered.
On the trip, the king also broke his hip.
Scott made references to both, and King Juan Carolos appeared uncomfortable.
Scott tells the king he has ridden elephants, but never shot one.
He also told the king he needs a better story about how he broke his hip.
Before Scott's visit, the king had publicly apologized and put the scandal to rest.
