Some researchers from North Central Florida have a bright idea that they think will lead to many fields of dreams. They want to harness the power of the sun by using your yard, or any other grassy area. They are developing a special turf that one day could provide the average homeowner with enough electricity to power the entire home. Until that time, Mike Starks of Sestar Technologies tells TV 20's David Snyder that the first test areas may be in roadway medians and other low foot traffic areas.
