Published April 20th, 2010
Some of the tiniest explosions...may ignite a revolution in engineering. And researchers at the University of Florida are pulling the trigger. Exploding nanoparticles could become a crucial method for treating cancer or even sparking the car engine of the future.
In the Technology Spotlight, Brij Moudgil, Ph.D. of the College of Engineering at the University of Florida explains to TV 20's David Snyder the value of a discovery using a laser beam only slightly stronger than a laser pointer...and tiny molecules called "fullerenes."
