When the light dies in your flashlight, you change--or recharge--the battery. In the future, some think that when the light dies in your living room, you will change--or recharge--the battery. Some researchers in North Central Florida think they are close to putting Solid Oxide Fuel Cells into the homes--and cars--of the future.
In the Technology Spotlight, David Greenspan, Ph.D. of RedOx Fuel Cells explains to TV 20's David Snyder how solid oxide fuel cells work, and how his company has found a way to lower the super-hot atmosphere they had to work in until now.
