You can make a lot of things out of wood. But the last thing you might imagine is a leisure suit!
Researchers in North Central Florida have nevertheless found the key to making polyesters and plastics out of wood.
In the technology spotlight, Stephen Miller, Ph.D., an Associate Professor of Chemistry at U.F., shows TV 20's David Snyder the process, and why they are intentionally engineering their plastics to last fewer years than conventional plastics.
