Corrie Lovette is a Florida girl, born and raised in Lakeland. She decided to stay close to home for college and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting. As a very community oriented person, Corrie enjoys being involved in the community that so many loved ones call home.
Her interest in journalism began at the young age of seven, so joining the TV20 team in August of 2010 fulfilled her life-long dream of being a reporter!
Before coming to TV20, Corrie spent countless hours in front of and behind the camera through elementary and high school television productions, Southeastern University’s Communications Department, and interned at FOX 13 in Tampa.
Corrie is passionate about connecting with people and helping to tell their stories. She looks forward to doing just that here in North Central Florida as anchor of TV20's Morning Edition.
When not on the job, Corrie enjoys relaxing with her husband Joseph, quality time with family and friends, reading, cooking, photography, fitness and dancing (she is trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and hip-hop).
