HOLLYWOOD - Actress Kathy Bates is battling cancer for a second time.

The 64-year-old Academy Award winner was diagnosed with breast cancer several weeks ago, and underwent a double mastectomy.

Bates, who also survived ovarian cancer 9 years ago, tells People magazine she looks forward to returning to work.
