Rihanna is extending her heart to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The sultry singer was crowned Queen of the West Hollywood Halloween Carnival, but her emotions were 3,000 miles away.
Rihanna/Recording artist: "I am really devastated at what's happening you know. There is nothing we can do to control it . That is what makes it so difficult. We just have to be there for each other no matter what."
The Walt Disney company is contributing 2 million dollars to relief efforts after Hurricane Sandy.
Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger made the announcement.
In addition, donations made by Disney employees will be matched dollar for dollar by the company.
Disney is the parent company of ABC.
Brad Pitt is also digging deep.
The star has pledged 100 thousand dollars to support same-sex marriage initiatives on the ballot in Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, and Michigan on Tuesday.
