Her fiance is talent manager Brandon Blackstock, whose dad happens to be Clarkson's Manager.
A bitter custody battle over "Modern Family" star Ariel Winter is set to begin Wednesday.
Her mother and adult sister have made disparaging charges against each other in an attempt to win custody of the 14-year-old actress.
Winter plays Alex Dunphy on the hit ABC Sitcom.
Finally, at the Weekend Box Office, "The Hobbit" set a record for the biggest December debut ever.
Hauling in nearly 85 million dollars, "The Hobbit" beat the 3 other "Lord of the Ring" films.
The animated feature "Rise of the Guardians" held onto second place, but this time a very distant second with 7 million dollars.
