Conrad Bain, who played the kind, adoptive father on the TV show "Different Strokes", has died.
According to Bain's family, the actor passed away Monday of natural causes at his California home.
Conrad Bain was 89 years old.

Oprah's exclusive interview with Lance Armstrong airs tonight on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
She says the disgraced cyclist confessed to doping, and calls the interview the biggest one she's ever done.
While out promoting her reality show, Kim Kardashian said pregnancy has made her more private.

Kardashian is expecting her first child in july with boyfriend, Kanye West.
"Zero Dark 30" Director Katheryn Bigelow is firing back against protests over torture depicted in her film.
Bigelow told the LA Times, she supports all protests against torture but Bigelow also wonders if the criticism should be directed at those who ordered the "U.S. policies, as opposed to a motion picture that brings the story to the screen."
"Zero Dark 30" is up for an Academy Award for "Best Picture."
