Ben Affleck continues to defy Oscar.
He won the Best Director Prize Saturday from the Directors' Guild of America for his film "Argo" the third prize he's won for directing the movie.
"Argo" has been nominated as "Best Picture," but The Motion Picture Academy snubbed Affleck in the Best Director category.
Chris Brown may have one less legal problem.
Frank Ocean says he won't press charges against his fellow singer.
Witnesses said Brown punched ocean in a dispute over a parking space in Los Angeles last month.
Police are still investigating.
Rock royalty turned out in Los Angeles for a film premiere.
Stevie Nicks was there.
So, was Joan Jett and Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl.
They went to see a documentary on "Sound City Center" a now defunct recording studio once the haunt of many a famous rocker.
Zombies are a top the Box Office again.
"Warm Bodies," about a zombie who is redeemed by human love, grossed 20-million dollars on its opening weekend.
"Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" was second.
"Silver Linings Playbook" was third.
