Swimming complex being built in Marion County is getting another new addition

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - The swimming complex being built in Marion County is getting another addition. A warm up pool built by Myrtha that is currently being used for the US Olympic Trials will be moved to Ocala to become part of the Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training Center. The indoor facility will hold more than 2,000 spectators and a 10 lane olympic competition pool with 7 lanes, the warm up pool will become the facility’s outdoor competition pool.
The complex is expected to open early next year.
