MCSO, OPD participate in crime mapping database

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) -Law enforcement agencies in Marion County helping people find out more about the criminal history in their neighborhoods.

Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Ocala Police Department are partnering with a national crime mapping database. People can use the online tool to see a map of their area or the area they wish to move to and see what crimes were reported there.

In North Central Florida, only Marion County is participating.
