GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -Peaceful Paths is holding a pop-up thrift store fundraiser on June 10, 11, and 12.

All of the proceeds will go to their clients who are domestic abuse survivors around North Central Florida, one of the organizers said.

“It’s always important for people to know where their money is going. So, when you donate items to Peaceful Paths that are things that our clients cannot use, or we have an overabundance of something and need the space, we use this as a generator to collect cash for client assistance. For anything from bus tickets and gas cards to buying medicine, to anything a client needs that doesn’t come in the door,” Theresa Beachy said.

The items at the thrift store are donated new and lightly-used toys, clothes, and decor at a big discount.

All are welcome, but masks are required indoors. The outdoor area is mask-free, and a food truck will be serving breakfast and lunch throughout the event.

Peaceful Paths holds this event at least three times a year.
