Gainesville woman indicted for murder in Christmas Day custody swap shooting
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A grand jury has indicted a woman accused of shooting two people at a custody swap in Gainesville on Christmas Day.
The grand jury returned a true bill against Amanda Marie Janzen, 38, on charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder, fleeing, and child neglect.
She is accused of shooting Anna Haslup Terrill and Thomas Lepread Williams in the parking lot of the Walgreens store on Northwest 13th Street. Terrill died at the scene.
With her five children in the car, Janzen fled the scene and led authorities on a high-speed chase before finally surrendering.
