Prescribed burns in Ocala Nation Forest and Goethe State Forest

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Drivers in North Central Florida can expect to see some smoke in certain areas.
The Florida Forest Service is conducting a prescribed burn on 325 acres of land in Goethe State Forest.
The burn area is near County Road 227 and Southwest 282nd Street.
Also, the U.S. Forest Service has a prescribed burn in the Ocala National Forest. It’s east of Longleaf Trail, northwest of Lake Delancy.
