Putnam County teen arrested in connection to a 2023 murder in East Palatka

PALATKA, Fla. (WCJB) - Putnam County deputies arrested a teenager in connection to a murder in Putnam County last summer.

Ramon Gomez-Hernandez, 17, is charged with killing Rubli Perez-Lucas and shooting two others on June 30, 2023 in East Palatka.

Deputies say a fight broke out in the group on Kane Road when Gomez-Hernandez pulled out a gun.

Investigators are still determining a motive.
