Baker County Court Judge Lorelie Brannan is overseeing the case. State Attorney Shawn Thompson asked the judge to keep him in jail without bond.
“According to the probable cause affidavit, it’s quite evidence,” said Thompson. “Based on the statute I filed a notice to seek pretrial attention.. I’ll follow that up with a motion within three days so I’m asking for a no bond in this case.”
Judge Brannan granted that request and ordered weeks not to contact other people involved in the investigation.
Joshua Ward and Dianne Chamberlain were arrested for tampering with evidence. Deputies say the two were involved in trying to clean up the vehicle they used to take Crews to the hospital.
