LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - A contract from the city council is calling for a new salary for the Lake City City Manager.

A contract included in Monday night’s city council agenda calls for Don Rosenthal to get a salary of $165,000. This is an increase from the previous city manager, Paul Dyal, whose pay was $150,000.

Included in the open-ended contract is a new car and 20 weeks of severance pay.

Rosenthal was formerly an Assistant Pasco County Administrator and was chosen by city council members for the position in April.
