76-year-old woman dies after being run over in Kroger parking lot; driver facing multiple charges
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - Police say a woman has died after she was run over last month in a Kroger parking lot.
According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, 44-year-old Heather Keller ran over the 76-year-old woman on Aug. 24 in the grocery store parking lot along South Church Street.

Keller allegedly left the scene of the crash without contacting authorities or helping the woman.
Murfreesboro police said they located and arrested Keller the following day.
She is facing charges that include reckless aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries and driving on a revoked license.
The 76-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital via helicopter after the hit-and-run, but she died a few days later from her injuries, the department said.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of the woman’s death. She was not immediately identified.
A judge set Keller’s bond at $28,500 after her arrest. Authorities said her charges may be upgraded due to the woman’s death.
