Bradford County deputies identify 13-year-old camper fire victim

STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) — Officials with the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office say they believe they’ve identified the teenage victim who died in a camper fire that broke out Tuesday.

The investigation is still ongoing, but officials say they believe 13-year-old Colton Austin Kuehl died when a camper on Southwest 84th Avenue in the Sampson area, southwest of Starke, burst into flames around 9:30 a.m.

They say that due to fire, the medical examiner is unable to positively identify the remains or determine the exact cause of death; however, Colton is still unaccounted for.
