GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County school leaders are sending letters to parents to review changes to school boundaries.

Officials say the letters are being sent to all families in the county, even if the changes do not impact them.

Over the past several months, school board members approved plans to close down, rezone, or shift certain schools.

Officials say around 3,200 students will be impacted, or about 13%, of the district’s projected enrollment for next school year.
