Moms pampered for free at Legacy Park in Alachua during Mother’s Day weekend

ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) -Mothers in Alachua are getting a free day of relaxation and appreciation at Legacy Park this weekend, thanks to Pepine Gives.

Organizers say moms can show up without an RSVP and take part in a lineup of complimentary activities designed to help them “slow down” and feel celebrated.

Free offerings include chair massages, hand treatments and facials, professional photos, and a flower bar while supplies last, along with coffee and a continental breakfast and other surprises throughout the day.

The Mother’s Day pampering event runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Legacy Park Recreation Complex. The park is also hosting the Greater Gainesville Pickleball Open, which began Friday.
