Bradford County school board member Lynn Melvin dies

STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) - Bradford County school officials have announced the death of school board member Lynn Melvin.
An online obituary indicates she passed away on Saturday.
Melvin spent many years in the Bradford school district as a teacher at Starke and Brooker elementary schools, then returned to Starke as an administrator.
She won the election to the school board in 2022.
A celebration of life service will be held in her honor on Saturday at Bradford High School.
