Ginnie Springs implements new rules for Memorial Day weekend

HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. (WCJB) - Ginnie Springs has new rules in place for Memorial Day weekend, two years after a pair of deadly shootings.

Ginnie Springs management updated their alcohol and open container policies last month, limiting consumption only within campsites. They also have their rules in bold at the top of their website.

Gilchrist County Sheriff’s deputies said they are not part of security at Ginnie Springs, but they do have extra deputies on patrol throughout the county this weekend.
