Gerald ‘Mr. Gainesville’ Jones promotes new coloring book

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A local social media personality known as “Mr. Gainesville” is continuing his mission to put the city in the spotlight.

Gerald Jones, also known as Fie Scoobie, hosted a book signing on Saturday, where fans came out to show their support.

Jones says his goal is to represent Gainesville in a positive light and to show the world what makes the city special.

The coloring book features a crossword puzzle, different neighborhoods in Gainesville and some of his song lyrics.

Jones says he hopes to continue inspiring the next generation while shining a positive light on Gainesville.
