Wildfire near Goethe State Forest could affect commuters

BRONSON, Fla. (WCJB) - Smoky conditions from a wildfire in Levy County could affect the Monday morning commute.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are warning anyone taking US-19 about a wildfire in the area.

The South Gas Line fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. It’s estimated to be 35 acres and 80% contained.

Drivers near the Goethe State Forest should be careful of smoke in the air.
