Archer officials review progress on resolving budget deficit

ARCHER, Fla. (WCJB) - City commissioners reviewed the progress made by the new city administration in reducing a million-dollar deficit and implementing standard accounting procedures.

City Manager Donald Barber told commissioners the city is now “operating at a positive net income” but staffers are still creating a ledger for the 2024-25 fiscal year and bringing the current books up to date.
