CROSS CITY, Fla. (WCJB) — A former Florida corrections officer pleaded guilty to child exploitation and faces decades in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Monday.

Devin Waldeck, 35, of Cross City, will be sentenced on one count of child exploitation, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in federal prison. He also faces sentencing on one count of child pornography distribution, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.

Prosecutors say Waldeck posed as the mother of a minor, shared videos and photos on Reddit, and offered the child to at least one user.
