Tim Tebow promotes campaign to protect children from exploitation online

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Former Gator star Tim Tebow is promoting a pledge to protect children from being exploited online.

Tebow released a video on social media explaining the “Know 2 Protect” campaign. It outlines ways adults and children can identify and prevent exploitation.

“Every minute somewhere online a child is being targeted. By the time you finish this video, another child will be groomed. That’s why I’ve teamed up with Homeland Security Investigations and their ‘Know 2 Protect’ campaign to help every parent, coach and neighbor recognize the signs and take action,” Tebow said.

Through his organization, the Tim Tebow Foundation, the former Gator quarterback has worked with law enforcement to rescue and protect exploited children.
