Gainesville man accused of pulling gun on stranger at restaurant

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday after police say he pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at a stranger inside a restaurant.

Gainesville police said Toddrick Sutton repeatedly looked at a victim while servers were at his table. When the victim addressed Sutton, police said Sutton drew a firearm, pointed it at the man and said, “I ain’t scared I will shoot you.”

Sutton told police he saw the victim reach for his pocket and felt the victim should also be arrested. Sutton is facing a charge of aggravated assault.
