“Rocktoberfest: Battle of the Bands” coming to Williston

WILLISTON, Fla. (WCJB) - The “Rocktoberfest: Battle of the Bands” is coming to Williston in October and will feature local musicians.

The battle is a few months away and local musicians are working on their set lists to compete for a cash prize.

Three of the bands are from the North Central Florida area, including one from Williston and another from Old Town.

Organizers are releasing details about the upcoming “Rocktoberfest”. They said that eight bands will compete for a $1,000 cash prize on October 10 at Homestead Park. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m..

Admission to the battle of the bands is free.
