LACROSSE, Fla. (WCJB) — Two teenagers are facing burglary and theft charges after Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say they were caught on surveillance video breaking into a LaCrosse business Saturday.

The footage showed the two teens, later identified as a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old boy, throwing rocks through the glass front door and stealing items inside a store on North State Road 121 in LaCrosse.

A K9 unit tracked the suspects to a nearby home where the two teens were found and arrested.

Investigators then learned of a second burglary the same night on Northwest County Road 1493. An eyewitness saw two teens rummaging through a vehicle and attempting to steal a go-kart.

Detectives say the same teens were responsible for both burglaries.
