Deputies investigating death in Alachua County subdivision near Jonesville

JONESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a death in the Tara Esmeralda subdivision near Jonesville.

Numerous law enforcement units responded to the scene. Deputies said the investigation is not criminal at this time and there is no threat to the community.

Crime scene investigators were also present at the subdivision.
