GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Officers arrested a man accused of breaking into Ironwood Golf Course on Thursday night.

Gainesville Police Department officers arrested Steven Hardwick, 66, on charges of burglary and property damage in connection with a break-in at Ironwood Golf Course on Northeast 39th Avenue.

When officers arrived around 9:30 p.m., they found shattered glass from the rear door of the Pro Shop. They say surveillance video showed Hardwick using a concrete block to shatter the glass door.

Officers found Hardwick less than two miles away, wearing the same clothes seen in the security footage.
