WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - A former Southall Church employee is facing a felony theft charge after investigators say he took more than $350,000 in church funds.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said Southall Church contacted detectives in August 2025 about suspected theft by Paul Leo Tremblay, 58.

Detectives said their investigation found that Tremblay took the funds for personal benefit during his nine years of employment.

Tremblay most recently served as the church’s financial stewardship pastor through 2025.

A Williamson County grand jury indicted Tremblay on Sept. 3 on a charge of theft of property valued at $250,000 or more.

Deputies arrested Tremblay and booked him into the Williamson County Criminal Justice Center. His bond was set at $75,000.

Tremblay is scheduled to appear in Williamson County Circuit Court on Sept. 30.
