Dylan Lyons is proud to call North Central Florida home and loves serving the community. After joining the TV20 News Team more than two years ago, Dylan is excited to be anchoring the 4 p.m. newscast on ABC and the 10 p.m. newscast on the Gainesville CW. In July of 2019, he joined the TV20 team as the morning reporter/ fill-in anchor and worked most recently as the nightside reporter. Dylan has won a Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists Award for "Best Politics/ Elections Series" for his extensive coverage of the race for the 3rd Congressional District.

Dylan graduated from The University of Central Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science. During his time at UCF, he served as President for the school’s Radio Television Digital News Association Chapter.

As an intern at three news stations in Orlando, Dylan had great exposure to various stories. Working at the NPR affiliate 90.7 WMFE, he had the opportunity to cover the federal trial of Noor Salman, the widow of the Pulse Nightclub gunman. The President’s arrival at Orlando International Airport and high school football coverage were highlights of his internship at Channel 9 WFTV. During his final semester, while working at News 6 WKMG, Dylan had the opportunity to hone his skills as a reporter during coverage of the I-4 Ultimate Project.
