Emmy Award winning journalist Hunter Hoagland has years of experience covering news across Middle Tennessee, leading coverage from the news desk on stories that defined the city.
From the Covenant School shooting and deadly tornadoes to the search for Riley Strain and the region’s historic winter weather, Hoagland is deeply connected to Nashville and the community he serves.
Before calling Tennessee home, Hunter anchored in Little Rock and Chattanooga after graduating from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
A Denver native — and proud triplet — Hunter loves to spend his time exploring the outdoors, Nashville’s music venues, discovering new restaurants, and connecting with the community he’s proud to serve.
A medication mix-up at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville left a 72-year-old woman paralyzed from the chest down, her family said. The hospital said at least four patients were affected.
