Lisa Sacaccio

Lisa joins the TV20 team as the morning/noon anchor. Prior to her role here in North Central Florida, she worked at WCJB's sister station WTVY in Dothan, Alabama. Her journalism career in the "peanut capital" began in June of 2016 as a producer/MMJ, after graduating from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, with a major in broadcasting and electronic media, and minor in sports business. Within 5 months at WTVY, she was promoted to morning MMJ, and then took over the role as morning/noon anchor in July of 2017.

Over the past 4 years Lisa covered hurricane Michael and hurricane Hermine, and interviewed Broadway phenomenon Kristin Chenoweth, the Harlem Globetrotters, CBS's Chris Martinez for NASA's Apollo 11 50th Anniversary, Food Network's Guiliana Rancic, former GMA host Joan Lunden, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, Alabama's US Representatives Martha Roby and Bradley Byrne, TV analyst and former NFL Falcons fullback Ovie Mughelli, 2019 and 2017's Miss Alabama, and had a cameo on John Oliver's "Last Week Tonight" segment. She also worked the "health beat," covering many medical stories including the Wiregrass's stroke network and LifeFlight system, and did in depth pieces on heart surgery, neuroendovascular surgery, diabetes, breast feeding, and recommend diets for cancer patients.

While in Dothan, Lisa had the opportunity to emcee multiple events, including pageants, Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies, and fundraisers. She was a professional dancer in "Dothan Dancing with the Stars," which raised over $50,000 for the Dothan Houston County Substance Abuse Partnership, and won Judges Choice. She also starred in two plays with the area's nonprofit organization, SEACT (Southeast Alabama Community Theatre). She played Lisa, one of Sophie's best friends in SEACT's 2020 musical "Mamma Mia," and the infamous jazz slayer Velma Kelly, the lead in SEACT's 2019 musical "Chicago."

Prior to her schooling and starting her career in the south, Lisa was a born and raised in the "forgotten borough" of Staten Island, New York. She is a dance enthusiast, with an extensive background of over 20 years across multiple genres. In her free time you can find her watching baseball (go Yankees), at the beach, or chilling with her cat Soho.
