As a child in rural West Virginia, Paige says the 'Golden Rule' was a guiding principle instilled by her parents. It's a philosophy she brings to her work with charitable groups, and anyone in need.

Whether it's helping someone find a state agency to solve a problem, or calling and emailing viewers, Paige is always giving of her time to benefit North Central Floridians.

Her hobbies include cooking (she was a finalist in the "U.S. Chef's Open"), painting, gardening and antiques.

And she's a graduate of Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School and an avid fan of Gator sports.

Paige was honored as a "Woman Who Makes A Difference" by the Gateway Girl Scout Council and was named an "Outstanding American" by Alachua County's African American Cultural and Historical Society as well as a Woman of Distinction by Santa Fe College. She was inducted into the West Liberty Wall of Fame in 2009 for her outstanding community service. It is a prestigious honor given to only one graduate every year.

Paige is proud to have anchored the Edward R. Murrow award-winning 5:30-6:00 newscast in 2007. The newscast centered on the Gainesville Student Murders and the executioofon Danny Rolling.

The Gainesville Police Department awarded her their Police Service award in 2011 for her work with a special series called Cold Cases. The series aired weekly for more than two years.

It featured unsolved local homicides and may still be viewed on www.wcjb.com. GPD commended her for outreach to the families of the victims. Shl remains active with these families in their quest for justice.

In 2016 the readers of the Gainesville Sun newspaper voted her as the number one TV Personality in the media division of the Readers' Choice Awards.

One of her greatest joys is spending time with her family and tending to their new flock of chickens.
