Ruelle is a New York native, living in The Bronx until her family moved down to South Miami at an early age. She's West Indian with family from the U.S and British Virgin Islands.
Ruelle started her journalism career in 2015 at Florida International University in Miami. Two years later she moved 500 miles away to Tallahassee to continue studies at Florida A&M University in their School of Journalism and Graphic Communications.
She graduated in December 2019 Magna Cum Laude and started at WCJB in January 2020 as a reporter. She's excited to bring her passion for writing and journalism to the city of Gainesville. In her spare time, Ruelle enjoys thrifting, eating different foods and making jokes.
