HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. (WCJB) -- The Ice River Springs Bottling Plant outside of High Springs has been purchased by the Swiss food company, Nestle.

In a message to Alachua County commissioners, Nestle says the facility will provide water for the Zephyrhills and Nestle bottled-water brands.

The message says that Nestle "looks forward to expanding the community involvement" from their two other locations in Florida.

Ice River has operated the plant since Coca-Cola closed it in 2011.
