TV20 has chosen not to show his face because of his age.
The judge says the child has to enroll in a mental health facility for treatment
He'll also have to follow a curfew and probation until he's at least 18.
The victim's grandmother is calling the plea agreement a slap on the wrist.
"It's showing that, ok you're 11 years old and it's okay to go out there and kill somebody. That's what I think is being served here. It's just giving kids the opportunity to go out there and do what they want to,” Bobbie Prescott, Jadon’s grandmother, said.
Back in December, Jadon was shot and killed while visiting a friends house. Investigators say the 11-year-old took a gun from his parent's room, removed the magazine, and shot Jadon.
Jadon's mother who didn't want to show her face says justice wasn't served.
"But I will not stop getting justice for my son until the day that I'm dead. I will not stop,” she said.
The 11-year-old remains at the Gainesville Juvenile Detention Facility until there's room for him at the mental health facility.,
The father of the 11-year-old is charged with failure to safely store a firearm, according to the state attorney's office.
