A Marion County house in flames after hit by lightning

OCALA, Fla., (WCJB) --- Severe weather that resulted in lightning, caused a house to catch fire in Marion County this afternoon.

The 911 call reporting said that lightning had struck a house on Northwest 35th lane road in Ocala.

The ceiling fell on firefighters as they moved through the house.

But no one was injured.

The official cause of the fire was determined to be the lightning strike.
