Alachua County deputies search for suspected arsonist in Newberry

NEWBERRY, Fla. (WCJB) Alachua County deputies are looking for a suspected arsonist in Newberry.

The search comes after an individual set a bale of hay on fire at Newberry High School last Thursday, deputies said.

That's the second fire in a week, deputies said. The first case was reported last Monday.

Deputies first found a forklift on fire located on the school's baseball field and another fire at Newberry High School.
