Alachua County Supervisor of Elections warns residents about letter

The Alachua County Supervisor of Elections is warning residents about a letter they may soon be receiving.

According to their office, the Center for Voter Information and the Voter Participation Center, two Washington, D.C. based non-profit groups, are going to be mailing out 10,000 letters to residents who are not registered to vote.

Previous letter from them, have confused voters, giving incorrect or out of date information.

The Alachua County Supervisor of Elections says they are not affiliated with the groups, and they do not provide address information for the mailing of letters.
